Badur Sports Club a leading youth front in Weligama , Sri Lanka in 1970s and 1980s was restructured in 1989 and named as Badur united front. From then it changed its path towards Islamic educational fields rather than sports. It formed four major departments namely
Through these departments the front was carrying out lot of activities such as nursery school, Sunday religious school (Ahadiyya), sewing and typing classes, martial arts classes, and various social services activities. But the front could not continue many of its activities as it was not functioning on its own premises. In 2002 it was reorganized and named as Badur Islamic association . In 2007 the association decided to expand its activities to serve the community in a meaningful way. This idea prompted the association to launch a project in the name of cics . The association expect cooperation from all sectors to make this project a success.
